PRIVACY, BY DESIGN

Your files.
Your business.

Your PDFs belong on your device. We built PDFSprig to keep them there.

PDFs never leave your browser

Merge, split, extract, and rotate run locally in a browser Worker. PDFSprig does not upload your files, filenames, page selections, or results to a server. There is no PDF processing API.

No tracking. No accounts.

PDFSprig includes no analytics, advertising, third-party scripts, remote fonts, or third-party CDN dependencies. The app does not use cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, or service workers. All code and assets are served by the same site.

What happens when you visit

Your browser requests this website's HTML, styles, JavaScript, and images. Hosting on Cloudflare Pages means Cloudflare receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. This is separate from your PDFs; PDF contents and filenames are not sent. Infrastructure logs and browser caches may be retained according to the hosting provider and your browser settings.

Clearing your workspace

Files and generated downloads are held in this tab's memory. Use “Clear files” to terminate the processing Worker and release the app's references to them, or close the tab. This is not a secure memory wipe. Downloads you save remain on your device until you delete them; your browser may also keep download history.

Supported files and practical limits

We accept unencrypted PDFs only. Password-protected and other encrypted PDFs are rejected even if they open without a password. The workspace supports 25 MB (26,214,400 bytes) in total, up to 100 files and 2,000 pages. Generated output is limited to 100 MB. Processing stops after 90 seconds; very complex files may exceed device memory sooner.

Keep your originals

PDFSprig is not a PDF sanitizer. Page content, links, or annotations may remain in generated files. Forms, bookmarks, accessibility tags, and digital signatures may change or be lost. Review your output before relying on it. Nothing replaces the original files on your device.
